1. Is the trial lesson free?
Yes. The trial lesson is completely free and without obligation. It gives your child a first real impression of our teaching style, and it gives you clarity before making a decision.
2. How does the trial lesson work?
After a short introduction, the teacher shows your child the first steps in programming through a small practical task.
At the end of the lesson, we explain to you what your child learned and how the full course will continue.
3. When does the course start for my child?
After the trial lesson, we collect the availability of all interested families.
Once a group of up to six children with matching times is formed, the course starts.
Payment only begins after the first regular lesson.
4. Do we need to install any additional software?
No. You only need:
- A computer or laptop (recommended: at least 16
- GB RAM for smooth performance)
- A stable internet connection
- A working camera and microphone
- A modern web browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari, or Firefox)
You will receive all login details from us. No installation is required.
5. Does my child need to be able to read and write?
Basic reading skills are helpful, especially for younger children.
Beginners are very welcome.
6. Does my child need prior programming experience?
No. The course is designed for complete beginners as well as for children who already have some experience.
7. Who is this course suitable for?
The course is suitable for children aged 8 to 16 who are interested in:
- Technology
- Programming
- Games
- Creative digital projects
No prior knowledge is required.
8. What happens if my child misses a lesson?
If your child is absent due to:
- Illness
- Compulsory school activities (e.g. school trips or mandatory school events)
- Family funerals
we offer a free make-up lesson.
For other reasons, self-learning options are available or a private make-up session can be booked for an additional fee.
9. Can I cancel the course at any time?
Yes. You can cancel at any time with one month’s notice.
There is no long-term contract and no automatic course extension.
10. How much does the course cost? (130 for Germany, 150 USD for the US)
The course costs €130 per month as a monthly installment.
This includes:
- One 90-minute live lesson per week
- Small groups (maximum 6 children)
- Free make-up lessons for valid absences
- Personal teacher support
- A certificate after course completion
Billing is monthly and can be cancelled at any time with one month’s notice.
11. How big are the groups?
Each group has a maximum of 6 children to ensure personal support and real progress.
12. Is the course live or recorded?
All lessons are live and interactive with a real teacher.
This is not a video course.
13. Does my child receive a certificate?
Yes. After completing the course, each child receives a certificate of participation.
14. In which language is the course taught?
The course is taught live in German.
All explanations are child-friendly, clear, and age-appropriate.
